Hi! I'm Kelsey. I'm a graduate student at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. I report primarily on the U.S. military, veterans, and national security for Medill News Service. 
I have a BA in History from the University of Denver and an MA in Diplomacy from Norwich University.
I'm an Oklahoma native and a former active-duty Marine Corps logistics officer. Now, I'm a reservist.

Before finding my way to journalism school, I worked as an editorial intern at The Chronicle of the Horse magazine.
